ARVIBelAgro LTD joint venture (Lida, Grodno region) plans to launch a turkey meat facility in November, a company official reported.
By November the company plans to have commissioned 15 poultry houses and launched a slaughterhouse. German-made and Polish-made equipment is now being installed at the slaughterhouse, the official informed.
At the moment, the investment value of the turkey meat project is estimated at 30 million euro.
The farm plans to grow turkeys from one-day turkey-poults imported from France, Germany and Poland. The output is estimated at some 6,000 tons of turkey meat in live weight. (Prime-TASS/Business World Magazine)
