In August exports of Russian soybean meal equaled 28.9 KMT against 34.6 KMT in the previous month. Total exports in 2015/2016 grew to another record.
Russia managed to overcome export lag in May, compared to the previous season, and this tendency remained till the end of the season. In 2015/2016 (September-August) 474.6 KMT of soybean meal was exported, up by 9% YoY (436.5 KMT).
Top three importers of Russian soybean meal remained the same – Poland (over 56% of total exports), the Netherlands (over 38%) and Uzbekistan (over 28%). It should be noted that export market of Russian soybean meal in 2015/2016 remained oriented for EU consumers. (UkrAgroConsult/Business World Magazine)
