The Ukrainian party continues to successfully export products of plant origin to the People`s Republic of China in accordance with the international contracts of Ukraine, the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection declared.
According to the protocols of Chinese phytosanitary requirements for the exports of corn, soybeans and barley to the country, the Ukrainian party examines the planted areas under the reporting crops for the presence of several plant disease excitants, which are quarantine in China. Within such examinations, phytosanitary inspectors should specify the plants infected with quarantine organisms for China. According to the protocol, such products should receive the export ban because they fail to meet the phytosanitary requirements of China.
The reporting inspections are annual, and its realization provide the absence of pests in grains, exported to China, and allow for Ukraine to settle the contract obligations to the country-partner. (APK-Inform/Business World Magazine)
