Belarus’ proceeds from potash exports fell by 38.3% YoY in January-June to $896.215 million, Belarus’ National Statistics Committee (Belstat) said in an official report.
Potash export proceeds decreased as a result of a 22.19% drop in the physical volume of Belarusian potash supplies to 2.31 million tons (in terms of 100% potassium chloride).
The average export price of Belarus-made potash fertilizers reduced by 20.8% YoY in January-June to $388 per ton.
As previously reported, Belarus exported 5.553 million tons of potash fertilizers (in terms of 100% potassium chloride) in 2015, down by 3% YoY. In value terms, potash exports reduced by 3% to $2.889 billion. (Prime-TASS/Business World Magazine)
