Tashkent International Airport introduced an automated system of luggage scanning, which allows to decrease time of luggage processing.
The system was introduced to improve quality of services, provided to population.
The airline said that the new system was launched in April. The system allows to decrease time of issuing of luggage to passengers. Number of complaints of passengers, related to loss and damage of luggage, has decreased.
The system was developed by a local software producer. It was integrated into video surveillance system of the airport and allows to monitor the luggage at all stages.
Currently, the system is used for arriving flights and soon it will be tested on departing flights. (UzDaily/Business World Magazine)
