In January-July Port Vysotsky LLC handled 3,456,531.237 tons of cargo (up by 15.2% YoY), the stevedore’s press center says.
In July the company exported 455,932.452 tons of coal.
Port of Vysotsk is located in the Leningrad region of Russia. There are two stevedoring company operating at the port: Port Vysotsky LLC and RPK-Vysotsk-LUKOIL-II LLC. In May 2012, the Russian government decided to expand the Vysotsky port territory, including in its boundaries the land and adjacent waters occupied by facilities of a general cargo terminal under construction. The terminal capacity is projected to reach 3 million tons a year.
Port Vysotsky LLC specializes in transshipment of Russian coal to the Western Europe. The port’s water area and the approach canal are 12.7 meters deep with the width of the canal totaling 200 meters. In 2015 the company handled 5.67 million tons of cargo (+7.7%). (Portnews/Business World Magazine)
