In January-July seaports of Russia increased the shipment volumes of grains by 16.9% YoY, to 15.3 million tons, the Association of Sea Commercial Ports of the Russian Federation announced.
At the same time, in the reporting month some increase in mineral fertilizers shipment was observed – by 2.8%, to 9.3 million tons.
The general cargo turnover in the Russian seaports grew by 5.8% YoY and totaled 406.2 million tons.
According to the announcement, the export cargo shipment reached 323.6 million tons, up by 5.9% YoY, imports – 17.8 million tons (down by 8.4%), transit – 2.19 million tons (up by 1.3%), coastal freight – 35.7 million tons (up by 19.3%). (APK-Inform/Business World Magazine)
