On August 1-7, Passenger Port Saint Petersburg handled 13 cruise ships with a total of 16,100 passengers on board, the port manager Marine Facade PLC said.
The overall stopover time was 23 vessel/day with 113,864 passenger operations. The services provided included: potable water supply – 3770 cbm; collection / disposal of 200 cbm of waste and 1074 cbm of gray/black water. The number of helicopters takeoffs/landings – 5. On August 4, the port received 5 cruise ships.
The largest passenger seaport in Russia – Passenger Port Saint-Petersburg Marine Facade PLC is in full ownership of the St. Petersburg government. The construction of Marine Facade started in 2006. Now the port can accommodate cruise and ferry ships with length of 330 meters and with draft of up to 8.8 meters. The length and depth of new access channels is 10 km and 11 m, accordingly.
