Uzbekistan Havo Yollari (Uzbekistan Airways) transported 1.17 million passengers in the first half of 2016, the press service of the Uzbek airline said.
The airline noted that it carried our 10,671 flights in January-June.
The average passenger load to one flight rose compared to the same period of 2015 and made up 111 passengers. Number of flights and passengers to foreign states increased.
The Uzbek airline also transported 19,700 tons of cargo, including paid luggage and correspondence, up by 7.5% YoY. (UzDaily/Business World Magazine)
