Kyrgyzstan’s economic growth has decreased since the beginning of the year, Deputy Director of the Central Treasury of the Ministry of Finance Marlen Amandykov said.
According to preliminary data, there was a negative GDP growth of 2.3%, which was below last year’s level by 9.1 percent. Nominal GDP amounted to 176 billion soms. The decline of economic growth is due to reduced production of precious metals.
The national budget received 55.5 billion soms. In comparison with those indicators of 2015, revenues increased by 7.8%, or by 4.1 billion soms. The largest share of resources belongs to revenues of the State Tax Service (42.7%), the State Customs Service (23.5%), state government bills (10.3%), and the return of budget loans (4.2%).
