Uzpromstroybank (Uzbek Industrial and Construction Bank) has issued a loan for 571.2 billion soums to small businesses and private entrepreneurships in the first half of 2016.
According to the press service of the bank, businesswomen received loans for 45.2 billion soums in the reporting period.
Uzpromstroybank said that it issued loans for 99.2 billion soums for production of food products and 138.1 billion soums for production of non-food products.
The bank directed loans of 53.2 billion soums to expand service sector and 9.1 billion soums to develop family businesses.
The Uzbek bank also allotted 11.3 billion soums of loans to graduates of colleges to help them launch their own businesses. (UzDaily/Business World Magazine)
