According to the Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, the country’s armed forces received a number of new weapon systems in the second quarter of 2016.
The upgrades include an Iskander-M brigade, an S-400 missile defense system regiment and over 90 aircraft.
“Over the last three months, the armed forces have received a brigade set of the tactical operational missile complex Iskander-M, an S-400 Triumf anti-aircraft missile system regiment, as well as 15 unmanned aerial vehicles, eight radar stations, 58 planes and 34 helicopters”, Shoigu said.
