In January-June Murmansk Sea Fishing Port handled 144,400 tons of cargo, down by 21.6% YoY, the stevedoring company’s statistics show.
In the reported period, the company handled 86,400 tons of fish products (down by 17.5% YoY).
In June the company handled 21,100 tons of cargo (down by 4.7% MoM), including 18,800 tons of fish products (up by 45.7% YoY).
In June the port handled 101 vessels including 15 large capacity ships (against 90/11 calls in June 2015).
Murmansk Sea Fishing Port specializes in handling cargo from fishing boats, mother ships and reefer ships. It also transships packaged, palleted and loose cargo, as well as general cargo of commercial and military use. The company’s quay side is 2,765 meters long. It owns port fleet, fleet of lifting equipment, auxiliary equipment, refrigerators, rail facilities and yard engines.
