Kazakhstan has imported about 6 thousand tons of Polish apples in December 2014, an increase of 50% compared with the same month of the previous year and record high result for at least 5 past seasons.
It should be noted that Poland has been raising apple exports to Kazakhstan since the very beginning of the season 2014/2015. For comparison, Poland ranked just second in the first half of the season 2013/2014 with exports standing at12 thousand tons.
