In April, Latvian airline airBaltic carried 287,560 passengers to destinations in Europe, Scandinavia, Russia, CIS and the Middle East. This is a 26% increase when compared with last year.
The airline carried a total of 876,328 passengers in the first four months of 2017.
In April, the airline performed 4,043 flights, up by 9% YoY, when airBaltic performed 3,694 flights. In the first four months of 2017, airBaltic performed 14,203 flights.
Aircraft load factor in April 2017 was 77%, which is 5% more when compared with the same period of last year. The overall load factor was 69% in the first four months of 2017.
The airline’s 15-minute punctuality index in February was 90.1%. This means more than 90 out of 100 airBaltic flights departed on time or with a delay of less than 15 minutes, the company reports. (BNN/Business World Magazine)
