In April the index of consumer prices for goods and services totaled 100.7% as against March and 102.4% as against December 2016, the National Statistics Committee of Belarus reported.
In April the basic index of consumer prices that disregarded changes of prices for the commodities and services affected by administrative and seasonal factors reached 100.1% as against March and 101% as against December 2016. Food prices rose by 0.8% in comparison with March and by 7.5% YoY. Non-food prices went up by 0.2% and 3.5% respectively. The index of prices for and tariffs on paid services totaled 101% as against March and 108.3% as against April 2016. (BelTA/Business World Magazine)
