In January-February Murmansk Sea Fishing Port JSC handled 48,500 tons of cargo, up by 30% YoY.
The company handled 21,700 tons of fish products (-19.6%).
In February, the port’s throughput grew by 19.1%, to 29,900 tons, including 12,500 tons of fish (+5%).
Murmansk Sea Fishing Port handled 77 vessels including 74 vessels with fish cargo. 14 vessels of them were large capacity vessels.
The management of Murmansk Sea Fishing Port has to place stake on non-profile cargo. In February, the port handled metal structures for Apatite JSC and marble aggregate for Gazpromneftsnabzheniye.
JSC Murmansk Sea Fishing Port specializes in handling cargo from fishing boats, mother ships and reefer ships. It also transships packaged, palleted and loose cargo, as well as general cargo of commercial and military use. The company’s quayside is 4.5 km long. It owns port fleet, fleet of lifting equipment, auxiliary equipment, refrigerators, rail facilities and yard engines.
