Milling wheat continued rising in price on the domestic market on active purchases.
Export prices for 11.5%-protein wheat in Bulgaria stay at $176-179 FOB for December-January delivery. Growing demand for Bulgarian wheat is observed from beyond the European Union.
Overall, traders substantially increased export shipments of wheat this season. In the first five months of MY 2016/2017, Bulgarian wheat exports were almost 75% higher than last year.
A decline is reported in purchase prices for barley. The market is slackening after previous week’s surge in barley purchases. (UkrAgroConsult/Business World Magazine)
