The First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Energy of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal reported that there were currently 14.6 billion cubic meters of gas in Ukrainian underground storage facilities.
According to him, Ukraine has achieved the target level of UGS filling a month ahead of schedule.
“I would like to thank everyone who works for this result every day and continues to ensure the stability of the gas industry and the energy security of Ukraine: Ukrainian producing companies, the GTS Operator of Ukraine, Naftogaz and all employees of the fuel and energy complex. In terms of gas reserves, we are ready for the autumn-winter period of 2026-2027. We continue to work in other areas,” Denys Shmyhal said. (Energy Ministry)
