Almost a third of small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) ended last year with large non-payments from counterparties. In December, 31% of enterprises “had significant overdue receivables”, showed a survey of SMEs conducted by Promsvyazbank, the NAFI analytical center, and Magram Market Research.
In particular, at 12% of respondents, non-payments appeared more than six months ago, and debts to another 19% of those surveyed are overdue for more than half a year. The size of non-payments is increasing, the survey showed: over the past three months, their size increased in 14% of companies, and decreased in 9% (The Moscow Times).
