The Government has extended the current electricity rate for residential consumers until October 31 – 4.32 UAH per kWh. This was announced by Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.
“This means that electricity prices for the public will remain unchanged,” the Prime Minister noted.
The Government supports households for which electricity is the primary source of heating – houses and apartments with electric heating, as well as apartment buildings not connected to the gas supply or to centralized or autonomous heating systems.
For them, a preferential rate will apply from October 1 to April 30 – 2.64 UAH per kWh for consumption up to 2,000 kWh per month, and 4.32 UAH per kWh for consumption exceeding this amount.
In this way, the Government is reducing the financial burden on families. (Government portal)
