The government has extended the ban on the export of automobile gasoline from Russia for the third time – the restrictions will now be in effect until February 28, 2026, inclusive. This was reported by the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers, noting that the measure is aimed at maintaining a stable situation in the domestic fuel market.
The published message states that the relevant decree provides for the extension of the ban on the export of gasoline outside the country for all exporters, including direct producers. Restrictions on the export of diesel fuel, marine fuel, and other gas oils, including those purchased at exchange auctions, have also been extended until the same date. At the same time, the government clarified that the ban on the export of diesel and related petroleum products does not apply to petroleum product manufacturers (The Moscow Times).
