The Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yulia Svyrydenko, summarised the work done during the URC-2026 Ukraine Recovery Conference in Gdansk.
“The 160 agreements signed this year, worth over EUR 10 billion, are the result of the daily efforts of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the entire Ukrainian team,” the Prime Minister said.
Key outcomes include:
– EUR 3.2 billion – the first tranche of the new EU financial instrument;
– $3.4 billion – an agreement with the World Bank;
– The launch of the European Flagship Fund for the Reconstruction of Ukraine;
– The establishment of the Ukraine Transport Support Fund;
– EUR 140 million for housing programmes;
– An agreement with the EIB on the restoration and protection of roads in frontline regions;
– New partnerships in the defence industry and energy sectors.
“This day has once again confirmed that Ukraine and Europe share a common path, common values and a common future. Glory to Ukraine!” concluded Yulia Svyrydenko. (Government portal)
