The European Union provides 400,000 euros for four entities of the Cahul and Ungheni regions, which will back initiatives of clustering. The goal of the non-refundable assistance is to promote the spirit of cooperation among companies from urban and rural areas, through the support of innovative ideas and creation of new jobs.
Thus, four non-commercial entities registered and active in the Cahul and Ungheni districts will benefit from financial assistance, which will not exceed 100,000 euros per one project, coming with its own contribution of at least 10% of the proposal’s overall value. The project must include activities due to be carried out during 12 months starting from the date of the signing of the agreement on grant.
The financial assistance will be allocated for the purchase of equipment, assets, works and services for speeding up and development of the current clusters in urban and rural zones.
The grants are provided by the European Union, within the EU4Moldova: Focal Regions Programme, implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the United Nations Children’s Fund. The deadline for submitting the files is March 17. (Moldpres/Business World Magazine)
