Belarus’ proceeds from oil product exports dropped by 35.3% YoY in January-June to $2.457 billion, a government source reported.
In physical terms, Belarus’ oil product exports decreased by 1.5% YoY, to 8.869 million tons.
The decline in proceeds from oil product exports results in the first place from the plunge in global prices of oil and the decline in prices of petroleum products, the official said.
In 2015 Belarus exported 16.794 million tons of oil products (up by 23% YoY) valued at $6.757 billion (down by 30% YoY). (Prime-TASS/Business World Magazine)
