Kherson International Airport has launched a Pegasus Airlines flight to Istanbul, the Kherson Regional Council reports.
“On June 3, Kherson International Airport met the first flight of the Turkish low-cost carrier Pegasus with a water arch. The carrier has connected Kherson and Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen International Airport with direct flights,” reads the report.
Flights from Kherson to Istanbul will be operated twice a week – on Thursdays and Sundays. Departure from Kherson is at 14:55 and from Istanbul at 12:30. The flight duration is 1 hour 35 minutes.
This is the 13th direct flight between Ukraine and Turkey performed by Pegasus Airlines. Since the beginning of the year, Pegasus has announced new flights from Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia to Bodrum, from Odesa to Istanbul and from Kyiv to Gazipasa.
In addition, Turkish Airlines offers flights on the Kherson-Istanbul route four times a week.
