AVK confectionery company has launched exports to Malaysia.
“We have already handled the first three deliveries of sweets and are working on new orders,” AVK Deputy Director General for Strategic Development Andriy Radchuk declared.
As reported, the first 50 tons of Ukrainian sweets have already been supplied to Malaysia. Radchuk says the company plans to develop this segment, gradually increasing sales. However, AVK does not disclose the planned supplies. He added that both chocolate products and snacks had been delivered to the country.
Dnipro-based AVK is one of the leaders of Ukraine’s national confectionery market. The company exports products to more than 60 countries. AVK is among the world’s Top 100 confectionery companies. Volodymyr Avramenko, former MP from the Party of Regions, is the main beneficiary of the company.
AVK in 2013 bought 25% of its shares worth $45 million back from Western NIS Enterprise Fund. (UNIAN/Business World Magazine)
