Last week, from April 13 to 19, specialists from the DTEK Network distribution system operators restored power to 599 settlements that were cut off due to enemy shelling. In total, power engineers restored power to 539,000 families in four regions of Ukraine and the capital.
Repair crews begin restoration work as soon as they receive the appropriate permits from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Emergency Service.
Results of restoration by region:
– Odesa region: despite constant attacks on the region’s power system, 205,200 families were restored to power in a week;
– Donetsk region: in conditions of continuous fighting, energy companies restored power supply to 202.2 thousand homes;
– Dnipropetrovsk region: due to regular shelling, specialists worked to restore power to 130.7 thousand homes;
– Kyiv region and Kyiv: in the region, power was restored to 1,000 homes that were affected by the attacks during the specified period.
“We have been continuing to work and restore power for 1,517 days now. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, we have restored power to over 43.1 million families. In front-line areas, we have had to repair networks dozens of times,” said Alina Bondarenko, CEO of DTEK Networks. (Energobiznes)
