“Google Tax” in 2025 brought over 14.4 billion UAH to the budget.
These are funds paid by non-residents who supply electronic services to individuals in the customs territory of Ukraine and are registered as VAT payers. This was reported on her Facebook page by the Acting Head of the State Tax Service, Lesya Karnaukh.
In particular:
– 150.1 million euros,
– $177.4 million.
The largest taxpayers remain the world’s leading digital companies: Apple, Google, Valve, Meta, Sony, Etsy, Netflix.
“And this is about transparency and fair rules for Ukrainian and international business. The digital services market continues to grow,” she added.
The circle of payers is expanding:
– In 2025, 12 new non-residents registered as VAT payers;
– Since the beginning of 2026 – 5 more companies;
– In total, there are already 150 non-residents in Ukraine – VAT payers in the field of electronic services.
“All electronic services that we use every day work for the country’s budget. These are funds for the country’s defense, social programs, and recovery,” Lesya Karnaukh emphasized. (State Tax Service)
