In January-February, a total of UAH 336.6 billion was directed from Ukraine’s state budget general fund to finance the security and defense sector. The relevant statement was made by the Finance Ministry on Telegram.
“In January-February, the expenditures from the state budget general fund on the security and defense sector came to UAH 336.6 billion, which was 62.5% of the total expenditures,” the report states.
A total of UAH 205.6 billion was allocated for the security and defense sector in February.
The funds were directed to finance the military pay for servicemen, rank and file personnel and senior officers, police officers; to purchase military and special equipment, weapons, ammunition, fuels and oils, food supplies; to finance medical, social security and other expenses to ensure the activity of relevant bodies and units.
