“The school meals reform continues despite the full-scale war. The subvention is an important step in the modernisation of infrastructure aimed at improving the nutritional conditions for students and teachers in schools. The project will renovate and modernise 159 canteens in secondary schools to ensure equal access to healthy food from the largest cities to the smallest villages. Selected institutions will be able to purchase modern equipment and upgrade their canteens and food production facilities. We want to promote a healthy lifestyle for the younger generation, improve the physical condition of children and form a culture of nutrition,” commented Deputy Minister of Finance Roman Yermolychev.
