On August 2, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a resolution “On Amendments to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 1057 dated November 17, 2010” to simplify the supply of military goods across the customs border of Ukraine, which had been drafted by the Ministry of Finance at the initiative of the State Customs Service of Ukraine.
The resolution provides for an increase in the number of checkpoints for military goods during the period of martial law, namely, the unimpeded movement of military goods, including those delivered by partner countries, through all open checkpoints on the state border of Ukraine.
Also, thanks to the adopted amendments, companies that ensure the defence capability of the state will have the following opportunities when moving goods:
– Avoid complications due to force majeure circumstances related to the blocking of checkpoints across the state border of Ukraine;
– Optimise the logistics of supplying military goods, which will save time and money. (Government portal)
