Enterprises in Ukraine’s central Poltava region increased exports by 47% in the first four months of 2024, to more than $730 million, Filip Pronin, head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, said in a post on Telegram.
“Enterprises in the Poltava region are active players in foreign trade. They cooperate with partners from 115 countries. During January-April, more than $730 million worth of goods were exported and more than $300 million worth of goods were imported. Compared to last year, the figures increased by 47% and over 20%, respectively,” Pronin wrote.
He specified that among the export leaders are the products of mining and agricultural enterprises. The European Union remains one of the largest trade partners for the Poltava region, accounting for almost half of the region’s total trade. (Ukrinform)
