Two local infrastructure improvement projects were completed in Ghelauza village, Straseni district and Hartopul Mare, Criuleni district. The works cost over 650 thousand lei (33.8 thousand euros) and were carried out as part of the European Express Village program.
According to the National Office for Regional and Local Development (ONDRL), a 10 kW photovoltaic plant was installed at the Multifunctional Administrative Center in Ghelauza, Straseni. The project was carried out with the Moldovan government’s support, which earmarked 334 thousand lei for this purpose. Now the administrative building uses solar energy, which helps to save financial resources.
In Hartopul Mare, Criuleni district, the reconstruction of access roads to cultural and medical institutions was completed, with a total cost of 323 thousand lei. About 4000 inhabitants benefit from the facilities.
