SE “Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority” (USPA) signed a memorandum with the ports of South Louisiana and New Orleans (USA) on cooperation in the areas of technical planning, development, construction, administration, operation and maintenance of port infrastructure.
As the press service of USPA posted on Facebook, cooperation with the Odesa seaport was agreed upon within the framework of the memorandum.
“As two of the world’s leading grain exporters, the United States and Ukraine are proud of their role in providing the world with food. This memorandum cements the support for the Ukrainian people in protecting their freedom and creates an alliance with our Ukrainian partners that focuses on our shared mission of serving customers across the world and creating economic prosperity for our communities,” said Paul Matthews, CEO of the Port of South Louisiana.
