Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Vitalii Holovnia met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to Ukraine Radek Matula.
The parties discussed areas of cooperation between the countries in the fisheries sector. In particular, the issue of stocking the Dnipro River reservoirs, exchange of experience and best practices in the reproduction of valuable fish species such as carp, tench and pikeperch in aquaculture.
According to Vitalii Holovnya, stocking is very important for Ukraine, and cooperation with the Czech Republic, which has a significant level of development of modern aquaculture technologies, will be beneficial for both countries.
Radek Matula noted that the Czech Republic was trying to help Ukraine in all areas. In particular, it concerns the biodiversity of Ukrainian water bodies. The Czech ambassador assured of full support and assistance to Ukraine in the development of aquaculture. (Government portal/Business World Magazine)
