In March, 805 new commercial vehicles were purchased and registered in Ukraine, up by 11% MoM, according to the Ukrainian Motor Vehicle Manufacturers Association (Ukrautoprom).
“In March, 805 vehicles were purchased on the Ukrainian market of new commercial vehicles. This is the best result in the first quarter of the current year,” the report says.
According to Ukrautoprom, registrations in this segment of the automotive market grew 7.5-fold YoY and by almost 11% MoM.
Renault commercial vehicles had the largest demand in March, with 150 units purchased.
The second in terms of sales were Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicles, with 93 units registered.
The top five most popular commercial vehicles in March were also Citroen (68), Volvo (68), Scania (60) and Peugeot (51).
In total, in January-March, 2,200 new trucks and special vehicles were registered in Ukraine, up by 12% YoY. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
