Georgian Economy Minister Levan Davitashvili on April 5 reviewed bilateral cooperation with Edmondo Cirelli, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy, at a meeting in Tbilisi.
The ministry said the officials discussed ties in trade, investments, agriculture, transport and logistics, energy, tourism and other fields, and praised the “fruitful cooperation” in culture.
Special attention was paid to the Georgian Government’s steps towards integration into Euro-Atlantic structures, with Cirelli reaffirming Italy’s support for the aspirations.
The ministry also cited Cirelli as praising Georgia’s role in promoting regional peace talks between Azerbaijan and Armenia. (Agenda/Business World Magazine)
