According to the Minister of Energy of Ukraine German Galushchenko, on February 15, electricity generation continued to meet the demand.
“All 9 nuclear power units are in operation, providing more than half of the electricity generated in Ukraine. Favorable weather conditions this winter allow hydropower generation to operate efficiently, and the volume of electricity generation from renewable sources is growing,” said German Galushchenko.
Stabilization blackouts are possible in Odesa region due to repairs of the grid infrastructure.
Unfortunately, as a result of hostile shelling in the eastern part of Kharkiv region and damage to the power grid, Kupiansk and the surrounding areas were cut off from electricity. (Government portal/Business World Magazine)
