A total of 10,500 tons of medical humanitarian aid worth UAH 12,850 million has been delivered to Ukraine during the period of martial law.

In particular, the following items were received: medicines – 480,559,363 pieces, consumables and personal protective equipment – 133,020,948 pieces, tools – 194,339 pieces, comprehensive kits – 13,924 pieces, equipment – 302,192 pieces, tactical first aid kits – 137,278 pieces, medical furniture – 618 pieces, medical transport – 405 pieces, bulletproof vests and helmets for medical workers – 1,632 pieces and other – 59,496,094 pieces.
The Ministry of Health distributes this aid not only to subordinate health care institutions, but also to municipal and departmental institutions, including those subordinated to the security and defense sector. All humanitarian aid is distributed in order of priority. First of all – to meet the needs of medical institutions located in or near the combat zone, as well as those that treat the wounded. In addition, the focus is on institutions in regions with a large number of internally displaced persons.
The humanitarian aid is unloaded at warehouses near the state border, registered there, and then distributed and delivered to the regions based on priority. It is important to note that collection of information on medical needs, inventory of balances in regional warehouses and healthcare facilities, as well as distribution of medical humanitarian aid are carried out through the MedData information and analytical system, which ensures control and transparency of the process.
During the war, the ministry also managed to establish cooperation with volunteers and benefactors to coordinate interaction and promptly meet medical needs.
“The world has united around Ukraine in the desire to help and bring our victory closer! We thank all partners, your support means thousands of saved lives of Ukrainians, every one of which is priceless for us!” said Deputy Minister of Health for Digital Development Mariia Karchevych.
