The Georgian government on October 10 held a meeting led by prime minister Irakli Garibashvili to discuss a range of topics, including approval of the 2022-2028 strategy for the development of the capital market of Georgia and the related action plan.
The government administration said the strategy would contribute to the “uniformity of the country’s economic space, freedom of economic activity” and establishment of a competitive and stable investment environment.
Designed to reflect the government’s Vision 2030 development strategy, the strategy is also in line with the association agreement signed with the European Union in 2014, while the action plan is set for the years 2022-2024.
The strategy was developed with the active involvement of relevant government agencies, private sector representatives, Asian Development Bank experts and consultants. (Agenda/Business World Magazine)
