Odesa region’s farmers completed the harvesting of early grain crops, having threshed 2.5 million tons of grain and leguminous crops.
The relevant statement was made by Press Secretary of the Head of Odesa Regional Military Administration Aliona Novichkova on Facebook.
“Odesa region is Ukraine’s first region to have completed the harvesting of early grain crops. In 2022, a total of 2.5 million tons of crops were harvested. In particular, a total of 1.63 million tons of winter wheat was threshed from 627.3 thousand hectares,” Novichkova wrote.
In her words, the yield of winter barley came to 692 thousand tons, early barley – 82.6 thousand tons and rapeseed – 242.4 thousand tons. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
