The eRobota program started on July 1. From now on, everyone can apply for a non-refundable grant for business through Diia, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has announced during the Government meeting.
“As we promised, we are launching the eRobota program. These are grants for creating startups, expanding small and medium-sized businesses, as well as acquiring new skills for starting a new career. These are six projects that will create tens of thousands of businesses and hundreds of thousands of jobs,” Denys Shmyhal emphasized.
The Prime Minister said the first program under the eRobota program stipulated for grants of up to UAH 250,000 for any micro-business. The second envisages grants of up to UAH 8 million for the expansion and establishment of enterprises in the field of processing. Also within the scope of the project, one can get grants for planting new gardens (up to UAH 400,000 per 1 ha), building new greenhouses (up to UAH 7 million), IT startups, gaining new skills in the field of information technologies.
“The first five programs provide for grants given new jobs are created. We don’t just hand out money. Funds can be spent on the purchase of new equipment, materials and tools. There should be a clear and thought-out business plan. The programs also require co-financing by the business owner and payment of taxes. Funds will be paid through the Oschadbank. It is important that both new entrepreneurs and those who already own a business and want to expand it will be able to use these grants,” the Prime Minister noted.
The Head of the Government emphasized that there were talented people and extraordinary business in Ukraine, and therefore the state gave citizens the opportunity to reveal their potential and ambitions: “I am sure that the result of this program will be new goods and services that millions of our citizens will use and be proud of, as it is Ukrainian business and Ukrainian quality.” (Government portal/Business World Magazine)
