According to initial estimates, Poland’s 2021 GDP was valued at PLN 2.62 trillion (EUR 560 billion) the Central Statistical Office (GUS) reported on May 12.
GUS said the GDP estimate helped the Finance Ministry determine the size and relation to GDP, of the public debt, the State Treasury debt and outstanding liabilities issued by the State Treasury in sureties and guarantees.
The office said that an official announcement on the 2021 GDP would appear in the Official Journal of the Republic of Poland. (The First News/Business World Magazine)
