The United Kingdom steps up funding for projects in support of Ukraine and its energy independence up to GBP 100 million.
“When the Prime Minister visited Kyiv earlier this month, he announced the allocation of GBP 88 million to support Ukrainian democracy and energy independence. Today, I can announce the next component of our support: we step up funding for these projects up to GBP 100 million,” Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs of the United Kingdom Liz Truss said at a joint press conference with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba in Kyiv.
Truss also stressed that she was impressed by Kyiv’s resilience in the face of Russian aggression and that London was proud to be at the forefront of support for Ukraine. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
