Tashkent Metro will stop accepting plastic tokens for travel on December 1.
“In connection with the introduction of an automated payment system for travel on public transport, we inform that from December 1 our subway will stop accepting tokens for travel,” the press service of the enterprise has reported.
“For the convenience of the payment system, all stations of the Tashkent metro are equipped with stationary validators allowing making payments via NFC, as well as to accept QR-code tickets, transport and bankcards,” the department said. (Uzreport/Business World Magazine)
