It is planned to adopt a state program to support and develop women’s entrepreneurship in Kyrgyzstan, Kurak women’s association reports.
Kurak has been lobbying for the adoption of the document for several years. Two years ago, the Ministry of Economy, with the support of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, began to develop the program. A working group was created, which included all representatives of government agencies, business associations and experts. The authors and initiators of the document hope that with the adoption of a real, executable and effective program, positive changes will take place in the republic.
“All of us – donors, government, business will get the opportunity to work together in areas that are really needed. Everyone who wants development and prosperity for our country will unite on this platform,” Ainura Sagynbaeva, Ambassador of Women’s Entrepreneurship Day in Kyrgyzstan and co-founder of Kurak Women’s Forum said.
The presentation of the program will take place on the sidelines of the conference “Creative and Courageous: 30-Years Path of Kyrgyzstan’s Women to Success”, dedicated to the Women’s Entrepreneurship Day (WED). The republic will mark it together with 144 countries of the world on November 19. This year, the event will start in Chon-Alai, Alai and Osh, where master classes and a fashion show by designer Dilbar Ashimbayeva will take place. (24.kg/Business World Magazine)
