According to the full list of projects on which members of the recently uncovered construction cartel had worked, there were projects like Riga Castle, the University of Latvia Academic Centre in Tornakalns, the headquarters of the Corruption Prevention and Combating Bureau (KNAB), Liepaja Prison and others, Competition Council reported.
Generally the 77 construction projects mentioned in transcripts of secret meetings among members of the cartel are multiple projects in Riga, including a number of education and culture institutions. Additionally, several projects are located in other Latvian cities – Liepaja, Jelgava, Skrunda, Ogre, Ikskile, Jekabpils, Valmiera, Kuldiga, Saldus, Rezekne, Salaspils, Daugavpils and Cesis.
Among those projects were education institutions, sports centers, hospitals, factories, parks, apartment homes, shopping malls and other buildings.
All construction projects listed by Competition Council include VEF Culture Palace, the Museum of the Occupation of Latvia, Ziemelblazma Culture Palace, Latvian National Museum of Art, Ogre Technical, University of Latvia Academic Centre in Tornakalns, Riga Castle, New Riga Theatre, Salaspils Culture Hall Energetikis, Daugava Stadium, Lielupa Tennis Centre, Ventspils Musical High School, Latvian Concert Hall, Lielupe Secondary School and Jelgava State gymnasium.
There were also projects like Rezekne Olympic Center, apartment homes in Valmiera, the headquarters of State Fire and Rescue Service on Jaunpils Street, KNAB headquarters, Bauska sports hall, P.Stradins Clinical University Hospital, Liepaja Prison, Mezaparks Grand Stage, Marupe Secondary School, VUGD headquarters in Skrunda, Ventspils Innovation Center on Rupniecibas Street, Jekabpils Courthouse, the office of the prosecutor on Aspazijas Boulevard, Radio and Television Tower on Zakusala, Kekava Elementary School, social homes in Bolderaja and Ropazi Secondary School.
Additionally, the list also mentions Akropole, Rimi and Alfa shopping malls, as well as Writing Museum, Garkalne School, Riga Technical University, Riga English Grammar School, Riga State Technical, Rezekne Technical, Sigulda Castle, Sigulda School, Adazi School, Plavnieki School, Kuldiga Technical, Valmiera Sports Center, Jelgava Hospital, Riga French Lycee, Zolitude School, 2nd stage of Lielupe Tennis Court, Lielupe Tennic Court, Elejas Swimming Pool, Imanta School, Rigas siltums Imanta headquarters, Liepaja Hospital, 2nd stage of Mezaparks Grand Stage, University of Latvia House of Letters, Salaspils Radons, Lielvarde Barracks, Ogre Social Center, Rezekne Factory Complex, Ikskile Secondary School, Science Park, Riga Tourism and Creative Industry Technical and Riga Art and Media Technical.
