The Ukrainian government’s investment promotion office UkraineInvest will hold an online international conference for investors on December 11.
“On December 11, the first annual international conference ‘Ukraine: Investment Harbor in the Time of Change’ will be held, organized by the government’s investment promotion office UkraineInvest,” reads a report posted on the Government portal.
The event will be an interactive platform for informing the international and Ukrainian investment community about the progress of reforms and development of the investment climate in Ukraine during 2020 and the country’s strategic plans for 2021.
The program of the conference includes speeches and a number of discussion panels, which will be attended by: Ukraine’s Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, Vice Prime Minister – Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov, Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers Oleh Nemchinov, Minister of Infrastructure Vladyslav Kryklii, Minister for Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba, Minister for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture Ihor Petrashko, Minister for Development of Communities and Territories Development Oleksiy Chernyshov, as well as representatives of the business community, international financial organizations and the expert community.
Among the key topics of the event will be investment market development on the short-term horizon; enhancing investor rights protection; success stories of investors in Ukraine; prospects of manufacturing facilities relocation to Ukraine; building “Investment bridges” between Ukrainian regions and the world; investment incentives for SMEs.
