The meeting was attended by CEOs and top managers of more than 50 companies to discuss development of the National Economic Strategy 2030. Target programs “National target programs encapsulating the initiatives laid out in the document will be developed and implemented in 2021”.
The prime minister called on entrepreneurs to take part in Strategy shaping.
Shmyhal has noted the need to create a full-fledged and civilized securities market among the strategic goals for the next decade.
“It is a tool enabling citizens to invest, in particular, in their own national companies and generate income. At the same time, it will contribute to capitalization of national businesses to make their operation and reporting more transparent,” he said.
The Economic Recovery Center has been designated as an analytical center and moderator of Strategy drafting, CEO of Advanter Group Andriy Dligach wrote on Facebook, adding that he was the center’s co-founder. Shmyhal’s advisor Kyrylo Kryvolap wrote on Facebook that an “intensive sprint” was planned “until mid-December”.
“A public discussion will start in September (preceded by work in expert groups). Solid draft – in October. The final document plus a series of government resolutions activating the main elements, draft laws, and state targeted programs that launch funding is scheduled for December,” he said.
According to Kryvolap, “specific vectors of development” will be identified during the development of the strategy. (UNIAN/Business World Magazine)
